An Ode to Homes

June is National Homeownership Month, and rather than talk about buying or selling tips or current market stats, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate something deeper: what home really means.

Home is where you know where the perfect morning light streams in all year around and where bedtime stories are told (and if your house is anything like ours..the same 2 books are requested over and over again 🙃). It’s where your favorite coffee mug lives, where shoes pile up by the door, where holidays and traditions are celebrated. And sometimes, where life feels the most chaotic, but also the most like you – your safe place.

Whether you’ve owned your home for decades, just moved into your first place or are still day dreaming about what your home will look and feel like, you know this truth: home shapes people. It anchors us during transitions, creates space for rest, growth, and gathering, and offers a sense of place that is hard to put into words.

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Beyond the emotional side, homeownership has real-world impacts, too:

-It builds long-term stability—emotionally and financially.

-It creates opportunities to invest in a neighborhood and community.

-It fosters generational wealth and pride of ownership.

-And it simply gives people a place to make their own.

This month, we’re just grateful. Grateful to be part of this work, grateful for the people we meet through homes, and grateful for all the memories made inside four walls and a roof.
